How do I request a charge ?

Simply open our app, enter your location and request a charge. Our team will be dispatched to your location shortly.

How long does it take to charge ?

Charging times vary depending on your vehicle's battery level and our charger's capacity. Our fast chargers typically provide a full charge in under an hour.

What types of vehicles do you support ?

We support all electric vehicles, including plug-in hybrids.

How much does it cost ?

Our pricing is competitive and based on the amount of energy consumed during charging. You'll see the cost upfront before confirming your charge.

How can I use WATT from my car ?

The Connected vehicle feature is only available for Tesla cars manufactured by Watt Concierge service.

To used the feature, download the app to your Android device and pair it with the car.

How do I view my order history ?

You can view your orders in the app:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

Select “My Orders” to see all previous and future orders.

How do I manage my vehicles in the WATT app ?

You can add or remove vehicles through the vehicle selection screen on the main page.

To add a vehicle:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select “My Vehicles”.

3. Select “Add Vehicle” at the bottom of the page.

4. Add your vehicle's details and tap “Save”.

To delete a vehicle:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select “My Vehicles”.

3. Choose the vehicle you want to delete.

Select “Delete Vehicle” at the bottom of the page.

How can I find my vehicle brand/model in the app ?

Can I register a vehicle with an international number plate ?

Yes You Can

Where can I add delivery instructions ?

You can leave delivery instructions for WattMan . A text field which will show up once you drop the map pin to select a location on the app.

How can I save my delivery location ?

Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

1. Select “My Locations”

Save your address as your “Home” or “Work” location.

How can I change my mobile number ?

You Can change your registered mobile number on the app.

How do I update my email address ?

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select “View Profile”.

3. Edit your email address.

Tap “Save Changes”.

Is it safe to leave my Charging cap open or accessible ?

It is completely safe to leave your Charging cap unlocked. In fact, most new cars have a non-lockable, push-to-open the cap.

Is it safe to use Watt ?

Absolutely. Our delivery trucks are built to international Charging standards and are equipped with the latest security and safety features. Our WattMan are carefully selected and have completed our comprehensive training academy programmed.

How does Watt keep my data secure ?

All customer data is encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and is stored in our servers in an encrypted format. We have no access to your encrypted data.

We also do not hold your payment card details.

Why do we charge only 80% of the battery capacity ?

Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers often recommend charging the battery to only 80% of its capacity for several reasons, primarily related to battery longevity and performance:

Battery Lifespan:

Lithium-ion batteries, which are commonly used in electric vehicles, degrade faster at higher states of charge (SOC) and when exposed to high temperatures. Charging the battery to 100% SOC frequently can accelerate this degradation. Limiting the charge to 80% helps prolong the battery's lifespan by reducing stress on the battery chemistry.

Safety:

Charging to 100% SOC can increase the risk of battery overheating and damage, especially in hot climates or during fast charging. Keeping a buffer below full capacity reduces these risks and helps maintain safer operating conditions.

Performance:

Maintaining a lower SOC can actually improve the overall performance of the battery. It reduces internal resistance and mitigates the effects of aging, which can result in more consistent and predictable range over the vehicle's lifetime.

Range Estimation:

Electric vehicles estimate their remaining range based on the current SOC. By limiting charging to 80%, the displayed range tends to be more accurate and reliable since it avoids the overestimation that can occur when the battery is fully charged.

To summarize, charging an electric vehicle to only 80% of its full capacity is a strategy employed by manufacturers to optimize battery life, enhance safety, improve performance, and provide more accurate range estimates. It's a trade-off between maximizing immediate range and ensuring the long-term health and reliability of the battery pack.

Can I order the nearest time slot and then call to make it earlier due to an emergency ?

Generally, this will not be possible as we will have other scheduled orders to make first. You can contact our Customer Care Team (+97158887 WATT) to see if they can assist you in case of an emergency.

Do I need to be present during fuel delivery or Any Service ?

No – just park your car, unlock the Charging Cap , and we’ll take care of the rest.

How does the free delivery model work ?

It’s a subception payment model , where you can select your charging unites and pay as you go.

How much does it cost ?

It is based on your KW consumed and charged + Fees

We’ll show you the total cost in the app before you place your order.

What is the minimum order amount ?

The minimum order amount for Charging delivery is AED.120.00

Will the WattMan call me when he arrives ?

WattMan won’t call unless he’s having difficulty finding your car or making the delivery. Remember, you can get live updates of your order’s status via the app. (We recommend setting your phone to allow the WATT app to display notifications.)

Tip: When requesting an order to be delivered between 10pm and 6am, you can allow out WattMan to call as it's deactivated by default during night time

How do I make changes to an active order ?

If you want to make changes to a scheduled delivery, simply go to the “Order details”, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select “Reschedule/Cancel Order”

How do I cancel an order ?

You can cancel your order in the app:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select "My Orders”.

3. Select "Upcoming".

4. Select the order you want to cancel.

Scroll down and select “Cancel Order”.

Note: Cancellation Charges Are Applied

Why wasn’t my vehicle refueled ?

You can check your order status in the app:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select “My Orders”.

When making an order:

1. Make sure you leave your cap opened.

2. Make sure that the location is accessible for our trucks.

Make sure you answer any incoming calls from the WattMan – they may need help locating your vehicle.

Why was my fuel order cancelled ?

The most common reason for order cancellation is a payment failure. Please make sure your card is valid and that you have sufficient funds available or check with your bank for any issues with your payment card.

How can I reschedule a missed delivery ?

Contact our Customer Care Team (+9715 8887 WATT) to reschedule a missed delivery.

What are the different types of vehicles and machinery Watt delivers to?

We can deliver to All EV Charging Ports Includes:

We can Charge boats and other watercraft at Any selected Marinas.

How can I get the most benefits from WATT ?

Why isn’t my promo code working ?

Unfortunately, our referral program has now ended and the WATTMAN promo codes are no longer active.

Are cancellation fees refundable ?

In general, cancellation fees are non-refundable. Once you cancel a service and the cancellation fee is charged, it is unlikely that you will receive a refund for that fee. However, it is best to contact our customer service to inquire about any potential refund options.

What if my vehicle does not take AED 60 as my Battery is small ?

AED 60 is the minimum order for any vehicle. If your Battery takes less, you will still be charged AED 60 till you update your package type.

Can I use a promo code for an AED 60 order ?

Yes, you can apply any code on the minimum order.

How can I check my order receipt ?

After your order has been delivered, we’ll email you a receipt showing the number of KW dispensed, the price per KW and the total amount charged to your card depending also on your Package plan.

Why do you charge AED 1 every time I place an order ?

It’s for your security. The payment of AED 1 lets us verify your payment card before we accept your order. Once your order is complete, we deduct the AED 1 from your order value.

Is it safe to add my card details to the App ?

Absolutely. We use the most secure payment gateway to offer you a fast, safe and secure way of paying using either your debit or credit card..

How do I remove a payment card ?

To Remove a payment card:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select “Wallet”.

3. Tap “Manage Cards”.

Tap next to the card you want to remove and select “Delete Card”.

How do I add a payment card ?

You can add more than one payment card to your account and set any of them as a default card.

To add a payment card:

1. Go to the main menu on the application home screen.

2. Select “Wallet”.

3. Tap “Manage Cards”.

Tap “Add a Payment Method” and enter your card details.

Which payment methods do you support ?

You can use any UAE-issued Visa, MasterCard or AMEX debit or credit cards to pay for your orders on the app.

Our payment methods differ from a service to another it includes card, Apple pay, cash, WATT pay (Wallet), and online payment link.

How long does it take to receive a refund for my cancellation fee ?

You can get a refund in your WATT wallet with 24-48 hours. If you want a cash refund, it is common for refunds to be processed within 7-10 business days.
